Just a quick post for the weekend, as I'm currently taking a break working from home. These pictures are from the shoot I did with Leviroy from Leviroy Photography last week, and are a few of my favourite ones (on my serious side sans the last photo) that didn't make it to the sixteen shots of my Life Features.
I hope you guys all had a great weekend! We were blessed here in Sydney with some great whether that we had been hoping for as we spent Saturday in Newcastle witnessing our friends Lore and Justin pledge their marriage vows to each other, but more on that later!
I must admit this post came about after reading the sassy Fran from Opinionsalve's post on The Repetitiveness of Blogging, that got me thinking. I'm finding myself moving away from traditional "fashion bloggers" and more onto creatives, whether it be photographers, architects or graphic designers. Sure, I still like the occasional outfit posts and am still drawn to very beautiful and artistic photography from these fashion bloggers, but on a more daily basis, they are becoming repetitive and loss of individuality compared to others that is out there.
With Rick's love for surf, I find I am always drawn to blogs that capture the many faces of the surf.. So this post is dedicated to the surf inspired creatives that makes my daily read of blogs just that much more enjoyable!
Spent a very fun Saturday morning with Leviroy from Leviroy Photography shooting a series called Life Features. For those who have always seen the serious side of me, a lot of time in this shoot was spent spinning and dancing like a lunatic, coupled with some great laughs and shaking off my camera shyness all at the same time.
I am absolutely thrilled with how these photos turned out! To me, black and white portraiture is able to capture great moments with such a sense of intensity! Thank you Lev, for having me in the studio for such a good laugh and including me as part of Life Features. Check out more of Lev's amazing work on Life Features here.
