fashionable girls with fashionable bikes.

The weather decided to not hold its lovely sunshine and heat, but rather decided to rain, which rained out our Moonlight Cinema. I was way dissapointed as I'd been anticipating that night for a long long time!

I've struggled for a long time to find a practical but fashionable outfit when going out riding on our fixed gears. The thing is it's been kinda hard as there are many limitations due to safety issues.

For example, I can't wear open toe shoes as there is a possibility that the pedals might cut my toes. I can't wear billowing skirts or loose pants as they might get caught in the wheels, I can't wear skinny jeans as its too restricting and I can't actually pedal properly...you get the drill.

So here are some inspirational photos of some fashion savvy chics, with awesome bikes =)

Obviously, not all are practical and some are just strictly for fashion, but they all just look soooooooo nice! All images should link back to their respective websites when clicked on.

Hopefully the weather will be good this Sunday and I can take some worthwhile photos to show you guys!

Hope you guys enjoyed this post! AND a BIG thank you to all who commented on my previous posts! Love all your contributions to my blog!

  2. Great pictures!
I know you can't wear some long silky skirt because it get caught in the wheels:-(. You end up with holes:-(, boehoeeeeh.

But still, it will look so dreamy, cycling a waving skirt in the wind.

  4. Thanks for your reply... I must say Rick has to be very creative and arty! :) Good on him, but yeah, he'll definitely have a lot of fun in Japan, how long is he planning to be away for?

But anyway, I reckon the Japanese are just so fashionable in terms of fashion on bicycle, when I went there, I saw chicks on bicycles wearing short skirt (I can imagine how happy the dudes are who're driving in front of her - lol) and heels, or high heel boots... I seriously don't know how they do that, but they'll seriously suffer the hot, the cold and the rain, all for fashion. To me... I'd rather be cosy and snuggly than cold, I'm hopeless in fashion, lol.

  10. I adore 5 and 6 though they are both pretty impractical :/

8 and 1 would have to be the most practical with style.

  18. Great post. I would definitely ride a bike around the city if I could but I think i would kill myself lol. Btw you asked about how my sequin shorts fit on my blog, their nice sometimes the sequins can be irritating and they are a little shorter than what I normally wear but I like them a lot.
